Pitches & Pints

Jan 26, 07:00 PM – Jan 26, 10:00 PM

The Groundwork Startup Hub is home to the bomb dot com of Wichita startups. And here's the kicker -- we have a spot available.

-- Groundwork Presents: Pitches and Pints! --

On Thursday January 26th, the Groundwork Startup Hub will be hosting an open-to-everyone pitch night. Come out to hear some killer pitches from some of Wichita's coolest start-ups and connect with the thriving entrepreneurial community in the ICT. Throughout the pitch, the audience will be able to provide feedback for the entrepreneurs via our interactive website at SLIDETHETHING.com (developed by Air Capital Media, LLC and Quickdraw Studios ). Exciting news. Along with audience voting with SLIDETHETHING.COM, we will also have 4 celebrity judges.

The SLIDETHETHING voting will result in a 0-100 score averaged from input from audience members. Each judge will allocate presenters points in the range of 0-25, and the 4 scores will be added to the SLIDETHETHING average for a total possible score of 200. (Hopefully, we made it complicated enough.) The top score of the three non-GW presenters will be admitted into the Startup Hub.

Judges are: Alex Pemberton Todd Ramsey Laura Bernstorf Andrew Gough

And to make the evening even more fun, we've recruited Sam Foreman to be our host for the evening.

The Groundwork Startup Hub is known for it's collaborative and fun atmosphere. We got each other's backs. Come out to Pitches and Pints and taste the new flavor of entrepreneurship in the ICT.
