Learn about SBA's Emerging Leaders business development program (1 hour information session)

You are invited to attend a free one-hour information session about the SBA Emerging Leaders Program on Friday, February 17 at 3:00 PM in Wichita, Kansas. The purpose of this meeting is to advise business owners what the program is and its objectives. There will also be two executives that graduated the program in 2016 available to provide their feedback and answer your questions. Call 316-269-6275 for more details.

The Emerging Leaders program is an intensive, seven month program that specifically focuses on the professional development of executives of existing businesses poised for growth in Kansas. While this program is offered at no financial cost, each participant must invest the time and energy to attend all 13 class sessions and complete the program. Each member of the class will develop a 3 to 5 year plan to grow their business.

The class sessions are scheduled to take place every other Wednesday afternoon from April to October at a location in Wichita with plenty of parking.

Qualifications: Emerging Leaders is for businesses that are:
• An established business (in existence for at least 3 years). • Annual gross revenues between $300,000 and $10 million.
• Have 3 or more employees (recommended).
• Time commitment of the business owner, or executive decision-maker, to dedicate themselves to attend all 13 classes and develop a strategic growth plan (estimated to be a 100 hour commitment).
