During one week each November, thousands of events and competitions in 160 countries inspire millions to engage in entrepreneurial activity while connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors. Youth Entrepreneurs will participate in Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) with a series of activities across the Central Region.

GEW initiative is supported by dozens of world leaders and a network of more than 15,000 partners including the Kauffman Foundation based in Kansas City.

“Youth Entrepreneurs students and alumni have the opportunity to participate in a global entrepreneurship initiative from their hometowns – even from their own laptops,” said Ashley Scheideman, Executive Director. “We are sponsoring several events across our region for students, alumni and community members to participate in, but we also encourage youth to find their own opportunities. GEW is a wonderful chance for them to network with peers who are also entrepreneurship advocates in their local communities.”
